The heat surrounding the movie tickets rates in Andhra Pradesh continues to soar up. With the Andhra Pradesh government and the bigwigs in the Tollywood film industry telling their versions, no one knows what happens next. The common people and the moviegoers are observing the issue closely.
The suspense over the issue goes further as the Andhra Pradesh High Court which is hearing the petition on the tickets issue had adjourned the next hearing in the issue to the 10th of February.
The court pushed the next hearing date further. During the hearing, the Andhra Pradesh government said that the committee which was constituted to address the tickets issue will call for a meeting soon and it will take some time and keeping this in mind, the hearing should be postponed.
The media reports say that the Advocate General of Andhra Pradesh sought some more time to file a counter affidavit in the case and the High Court agreed to the request and said the next hearing will take place on the 10th of next month.
The Andhra Pradesh government which had reduced the movie tickets to benefit the common people appointed a committee earlier last month. The 13-member committee is headed by the Home Secretary.
