Tiktok Is The Most Visited Domain In 2021!

Improving its rankings in terms of the popular web address on the internet, the Chinese-based social networking service TikTok had outperformed other platforms like Google and Facebook. Compared to the previous year, the short-form user videos service TikTok improved its rankings by six positions.
The American IT security company Cloudflare that rates the performance of the platforms said the content in the platform was widely consumed by the people which makes it the most popular website in 2021. By dethroning the tech giant Google, TikTok took over the top position.
TikTok which has been seeing a slow rise in its popularity since its inception went on to surge in terms of popularity and made it to the top 10 in the previous year with a seventh position. In a big change in the position, TikTok has ranked the most visited website.
TikTok faced tough competition from the competitors with a jig jag in the positions. While Google was on top for a few days in a couple of months, TikTok reached the top position for a few months. Taking the lead it got Tik Tok ended its performance as the top website for the current year. In the report, the IT company said, the youth and teenagers were the major share of consumers.
TikTok saw a big jump in popularity in 2020 when several countries went for lockdowns to beat the pandemic. With people staying indoors as a precautionary measure, the number of consumers for the service started growing and more and more people started using the app.
Besides the popularity, TikTok has also been in the bad light for the challenges that reportedly claimed a few lives. As a result, a few countries have banned TikTok. But the controversies did not stop TikTok from beating Google to become the topmost visited service in 2021.
