TRS may deny tickets to 40 sitting MLAs!!
The ruling TRS in Telangana is a worried party as IPAC reports are sending a bleak picture of the party's position in the state. If highly placed sources are to be believed, the image of at least 40 of the TRS MLAs has been damaged beyond repair. The reports say that the only way to salvage the party's prestige is to replace them with winnable candidates.

The Prashant Kishor report, which is based on an extensive survey in all the assembly constituencies, has said that the popularity graph of at least 40 MLAs is way too below the par and is beyond repair. Another 20 MLAs of the party are borderline cases and need to work really hard to improve their image.

TRS working president KTR has already warned the MLAs that at least a third of the party MLAs may not be given tickets this time in view of their unpopularity in their respective constituencies. He told the MLAs not to take everything for granted. He asked them to work hard to improve their image.

The Prashant Kishor survey has said that there is a high level of anti-incumbency against the TRS government in Telangana. The performance of the sitting MLAs leaves much to be desired, the survey said, and added that at least 40 of the MLAs should be denied party tickets in the 2023 elections.
