TRS Planning A Tour For Poll-bound Munugode?

As part of the efforts to enter national politics and create a big impact there, Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao aka KCR recently announced the change of the party name to BRS. The Election Commission is yet to accept the new name. Before his national politics entry, TRS is getting ready to face a big challenge.
The Munugode is all set to witness a big by-poll and the constituency is getting all the attention with this. While the star leaders in Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party already visited the region and met the voters there, TRS is yet to use its Brahmastra.
Though there are a few star leaders in the party, Chief Minister KCR is the tallest leader in the party without any doubt. He did not visit the region after the nominations were filed by the contestants. On the other hand, the other parties are a few steps ahead.
To counter this, the Chief Minister is said to be planning a Munugode tour which would last for three days. After returning from the national capital Delhi, KCR reportedly met the leaders and legislators and had a key meeting with them as far as the campaign is concerned.
It is said that KCR took inputs and opinions of the leaders during the key meeting on the tour. The legislators reportedly gave a positive reaction and told the Chief Minister that it would boost the winning chances of the ruling party.
Having been satisfied with the response, KCR is reportedly preparing a roadmap on how to plan massive events and gathering to address the crowd. If this happens then the ruling party would see an advantage.
The candidates of other parties are having some issues and the ruling party wants to use the issues to their benefit and go aggressive in the campaign.
If the Chief Minister can come to Munugode and address a few events the image of the TRS candidate would increase. Not having allegations of financial irregularities like Komatirerddy Rajgopal Reddy is a good thing for Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy and the TRS leadership might send a strong message to people on this. Moreover, this is the first election after KCR announced his entry into national politics.
