TRS Struggling with Internal Issues in Congress Stronghold!
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 July 2022 11:43 AM GMTThe Ranga Reddy district in Telangana is seeing some interesting political developments as leaders from the same party are locking horns with each other. The leaders have had issues with each other for quite some time and the fight between the duo had evolved into internal issues.
The leaders, who are damaging the Telangana Rashtra Samithi are Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy and former MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy. Both leaders started their careers with different parties and ended up with the TRS. However, this could not stop the fight between them.
Shedding light on the internal issues between them, Teegala Krishna Reddy leveled serious allegations against Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy. According to him, she is indirectly encouraging land encroachments and lands that belong to schools and water bodies are being encroached on.
After attacking Sabitha, Krishna Reddy said that he will not leave the matter and he will take up the matter to CM KCR and fight for justice. The encroachments are on a rise in the Meerpet area and if not stopped the area will be destroyed completely, he said.
The matter is very serious as far as the TRS is concerned. At the time when TRS is facing a tough fight with the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress, internal issues had popped up in the Rangareddy region yet again.
In a recent survey, it was found that Congress is strong in a few areas including Rangareddy. Now the TRS is struggling in the same area. If the issue is not addressed at the earliest then the TRS will have to taste a rude shock in the next elections.
The issues between them go back to 2014. He contested from the Maheswaram constituency in the state on a Telugu Desam Party in the first polls after the state bifurcated and defeated Sabitah Indra Reddy.
In 2018, Krishna Reddy and Sabhitha again fought each other in Maheshwaram on TRS and Congress tickets respectively. However, Sabhitha won this time and she joined the TRS. The fight became tense after Sabitha donned the Telangana Rashtra Samithi shawl. Since then, there has been an internal fight between them.
