TS HC Lambasts CS Over Lack Of Oxygen Facilities In Hospitals

The issue reached the court with activists knocking the doors of the HC over the figures of the pandemic tests and the availability of the medical facilities in the state.
Hearing these petitions, the High Court displayed its displeasure with the government failing to implement the court orders despite the string of directives issued in this regard.
The HC took a serious note on the reports that pandemic patients lost their lives with the hospital's lack of oxygen facilities which is a basic and crucial facility in treating pandemic patients.
Court shooted questions to CS and Health Secretary and asked do they know that patients are losing their lives with the scarcity in the facilities in the hospitals and asked how the government will sort the issue.
The two bench constitutional bench that comprises of chief Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan and Justice B Vijaysen Reddy found fault with the healthcare facilities in the state and said the way 38 patients succumbing due to the lack of oxygen facilities shows us the standards of the medical facility.
The High Court once again expressed its displeasure with the state government for not giving all the information of the pandemic patients in the health bulletin.
It has been reported that the High Court with a serious tone asked why action should not be initiated on the grounds of the non-compliance of the previous directions.
