Ukrainian Troops targeting Indians while crossing Borders!
By: Tupaki Desk | 28 Feb 2022 8:41 AM GMTThe world continues to hear heart-wrenching and horrific stories from Ukraine, which is under intense attack from Russia. After condemning the nature of Russia, the United States has proposed a resolution to put pressure on Russia to see that the nation calls back its troops.
The resolution was tabled at the United Nations Security Council and the member nations have voted to the resolution. While many countries have voted in favor of the resolution, a few nations have not cast their vote including India.
Knowing that the resolution will be tabled in the house, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had reportedly dialed Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and sought his help as Russia is after it.
However, India chose to be diplomatic during the voting and did not vote for the resolution. After the voting, the Indian representative said that the country wants things to settle down and see peace between the two nations. The re[presenttaive said that Narendra Modi spoke to Russian President Putin.
While one wonders why India decided to be silent on the burning issue, the Indian students are facing the wrath of this as they are being harassed at the borders. To list out the issues they had to face, the Indian students are putting their words together speaking to the media. The Indian students said that they had to face humiliation and harassment at the borders from the Ukrainian troops.
A piece of news carried out by a leading national media outlet sheds light on how they are being subjected to humiliation and ill-treatment at the borders. A woman student spoke to the Indian channel and said that they did not face many issues, unlike the male students who became the target of the army troops.
Currently, India is on a big mission to evacuate the Indian students and nationals from Ukraine and other nations. Air India vehicles are being used to evacuate the Indians. Five flights have reached India safely with the passengers. The rest of the Indians, who were stuck in Ukraine are hoping that the Indian government will act fast and airlift them also.
