YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijaya Sai Reddy did not waste any time taking the credit. Taking to Twitter he said that the Made in Andhra Pradesh Kia Carens won the award. He expressed his proud feeling about the car getting the award.
Soon after the Rajya Sabha member made the tweet, he started facing the heat on social media. Digging out his old tweets, people are trolling him. Back when Telugu Desam Party was in power the same Vijaya Sai Reddy said that Kia closed its biggest unit in China and there are many doubts about the Anantapur plant. He also accused Chandrababu Naidu of giving incentives worth Rs 2,000 crores.
Using the two tweets netizens and Telugu Desam Party supporters are trolling the Rajya Sabha member. They are asking how the ruling party member changed his tone and version after Kia won the prestigious award.
The TDP followers believe that the party leadership failed to promote what they did for the state. Despite bringing Kia and Hero company to the state the then-ruling party could not take it to the public. Calling the structures in Amaravati temporary is also said to have played its role.
