What Happened In YS Sharmila's Arrest Incident So far?

YS Sharmila was arrested by the cops and sent to Jubilee Hills Police Station earlier today as she mishandled the cops and slapped a woman constable. She first argued with the cops and slapped a constable. Besides slapping a woman constable, Sharmila reportedly pushed a male officer.
As if that was not enough, YS Vijayamma, who went to the Police Station to see Sharmila was stopped by the cops and had a face-off with the cops. In the process, she slapped a woman constable. It is a shock to see both mother and daughter slapping woman constables in different incidents.
If we look at the events that happened in the incident so far, Sharmila and Vijayamma slapped women constables. The two come from big political families. Vijayamma is the wife of the former Chief Minister of the combined Andhra Pradesh YSR and Sharmila is his daughter. Despite this, they behaved unexpectedly and are in the news.
Sharmila wants to come to power in the state and wants to become a leader. But that is not how a leader or a person aspiring to be a leader behaves. The two issues gave a big weapon for the opponents to target her.
However, Sharmila said that she had no intention of slapping the cops and she did it out of self-defense as the cops tried to mishandle her when she was not doing anything. Vijayamma also said the same and said that neither she nor her daughter thought of slapping women.
West Zone DCP Joel Davis spoke to the media about the issue and said that strict action would be taken against Sharmila if the cops who were mishandled by her files any complaint. DCP said that cops went to Sharmila’s house as they had information about her plans to visit the SIT.
