The popular messaging app WhatsApp went down in a few nations, leading to a global outrage as the app has users across the countries. It is said that the users reported the issues they had.
Thousands of users across the globe reported the issue that they cannot use WhatsApp irrespective of the type like the Mobile version or desktop. Starting from noon WhatsApp reportedly went down and users are having issues now.
Not just in India, users in other nations also could not use WhatsApp and struggled to send or receive messages. While the users cannot send messages in the mobile version, users were logged out of their devices in the desktop versions.
It is said that the outrage related to WhatsApp reached the administration and the platform is busy looking into the matter and addressing it. Users are hoping that the issue will get sorted out soon and they can use the app as usual.
Given the big population India has, a big number of users in the country faced issues with WhatsApp getting down. Almost every metro city in India faced issues with outrage being high in Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. All the cities have employees working across the fields and it is understood that the users are facing issues.

It is said that Meta started working on restoring the services. A few agencies quote the Spokesperson as saying that they are aware of the issue and they are looking into the issue to restore the services at the earliest. Meta Platforms is running the messaging app WhatsApp.
