When Gujarat CM Can Become PM, Why Not Telangana CM: KTR?

The ruling party in Telangana Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) had an inspirational journey. After taking an active part in the special statehood movement, the party came to power in the first elections after the state was bifurcated in 2014. Happy with the ruling, voters voted for TRS in the next polls too.
After winning two consecutive general elections, TRS is now aiming to create history by winning the third term. No party in the southern states has managed to win three terms. The KCR-led party is aiming to script history by winning the ballot box battle.
To take forward the legacy of TRS, Chief Minister KCR ventured into national politics, and the party name was changed to Bharat Rashtra Samithi. The party is hoping that the Election Commission will consider the request to recognise the new name of TRS.
KCR wants to foray into national politics and leave his mark and the Chief Minister is on a massive mission to bring an alternative force to the mighty Bharatiya Janata Party. The charismatic leader is gathering support from leaders in other states who are like-minded.
It is no doubt that KCR is a big name in the state and Southern states. But the northern belt will have different dynamics and KCR would face struggles in carving a good image among the voters there. KCR's son KTR gave an analysis on this topic.
In an interview, KTR was asked about KCR's future in national politics. He expressed his confidence that KCR would shine in national politics. Citing the example of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, KTR asked when a Chief Minister of Gujarat can be the PM then why not a Chief Minister from Telangana hold the Prime Minister's post.
As the Pan-India is a trend and Telugu films are creating a rage at the box office across the nation, KTR opined that like how Prabhas, NTR JR, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun shined across the nation, KCR would also pull off the same.
Politics and films are two different things and repeating the success seen in films is not possible in politics. We have seen big stars like Pawan Kalyan and Kamal Haasan struggling to have the right step in politics. Their charisma did not work in elections.
