Why BJP Is Angry with TDP Social Media warriors?
By: Tupaki Desk | 27 Aug 2020 7:49 AM GMTThe Andhra Pradesh BJP is taking a very serious view of the social media attack on the party. The BJP strongly suspects that this is the handiwork of the social media wing of the Telugu Desam Party and wants to ensure that there is a strong action against the invisible attackers.
Ever since Somu Veerraju took over as the president of the Andhra Pradesh BJP, there is a renewed attack on the BJP on the social media. The attack is mainly on issues like Amaravati. The attackers are particularly targeting Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao, who is known for his strong comments on the issue. He has staunchly been opposing Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP on several issues. Naturally, the TDP social media warriors have been attacking him. Now the BJP state president Somu Veerraju has written an open letter in his name warning such people of serious action. He said the party would not tolerate such attacks on senior leaders and said that it would use all its resources to ensure that the culprits would be brought to book.
Somu Veerraju, whose antipathy to the TDP is well known, feels that a strong action is needed to dissuade the TDP social media warriors. Otherwise, they would built an anti-BJP narrative on the online media, he argued.
