Why Priyanka Gandhi Switched off Her phone?
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 May 2020 7:06 AM GMTTime was when Gandhi family's word was law. But thatâs not true anymore, especially in the days of tough leaders like Modi and Yogi. When Priyanka Gandhi tried to get one up on the BJP by claiming that she would send migrant workers to UP in 1000 buses, she expected the Yogi government to go on the defensive and seek face-savers.
But Yogi, not just welcomed them, but also sought details of the buses, their registration numbers and the details of the migrant labourers traveling in them. This has left the Congress non-plussed. It began peddling photos of hundreds of buses waiting on its social media accounts. But, Yogi asked for their registration numbers not video clips. Then the Congress hastily prepared a list of names and sent it to the Yogi government. The UP Government did a quick check of the names and the other details and found that a large number of the names were coming on three wheelers and not buses. The Yogi government pointed this out and challenged the Congress to give the details of the buses as promised, not three-wheelers.
Last heard: Priyanka Gandhi has stopped taking phone calls. She is not even answering the calls from the media. She has now left the job of defending her to the hapless workers of the Congress party. Instead of making the Yogi Government look for face-savers, it is the Congress which is now looking for face-savers.
