Will BJP Say Jay Shah Is Anti-National Now?

Being a Right-wing party and its close association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Bharatiya Janata Party often flaunts its nationalist ideology. For the very same reason, the BJP gave a call to the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign under which every household in the country was asked to hoist the tricolor. The campaign was a super hit.
Not just painting itself as a true nationalist, BJP even projects others who won't respect the Indian national flag and anthem as anti-nationals. Since the BJP rose to power we are hearing more and more about the anti-national term.
The actions of the son of one of the top leaders of the BJP raised the debate on nationalism yet again. It is known that Union Home Minister Amit Shah's son Jay Shah is serving as the honorary secretary of the governing body of cricket in India, the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI). He tries to watch almost every crucial match of India.
He was in Dubai the other day to witness the highly intense match between India and Pakistan. After India won the match, celebrations broke out. He clapped and cheered for India. However, he reportedly refused to hold the tricolour. As per the viral video, when a person asked him to hold the flag he refused.
Jay Shah's strange behavior gave birth to the discussion on what BJP will do now. Will BJP paint Amit Shah's son as an anti-national now? Ask many. In the recent past, we say many such incidents where the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party made a big issue when a few leaders refused to sing the anthem and say Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
It is no wonder that if others had done what Jay Shah did then the BJP would have created a big issue and targeted them. We can imagine what could be the outcome if it was others in the situation in the place of Jay Shah.
Shocked by the nature of Jay Shah, the opponent parties are lashing out at him for doing so. They are even asking why BJP is tight-lipped on this and wondered if BJP would paint Jay Shah as anti-national as they do with others.
