Will it be battle of brothers in Tuni TDP?

Will Tuni TDP witness a battle between two brothers? Will this affect the party's chances in the constituency in the upcoming elections of 2024? Will younger brother Yanamala Krishnudu fight the domination of his more famous elder brother and former finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu?
Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has won as an MLA for a record 6 times from Tuni. He defeated the Tuni royal family, which had an uninterrupted run from 1952 till 1983. He was No 2 in the TDP after NTR was edged out of the party and remained a close confidant of Chandrababu Naidu. In all his victories, Senior Yanamala's brother Yanamala Krishnudu played a crucial role.
In 2009, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu was defeated by Raja Ashok Babu. Since then, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu did not contest direct elections. He became an MLC and then a minister. Krishnudu contested in 2014 and 2019 from Tuni and lost both the times to the YSRCP. However, things came to a head when Yanamala recently announced at a party meeting that his daughter Divya would be the party candidate in 2024.
This led to a furore in the party with Yanamala Krishnudu's supporters raising a banner of revolt. His supporters have demanded that Krishnudu be given another chance to contest. They even raised slogans and said that they would not support Yanamala Divya if she is given the party ticket. Sources also say that Krishnudu too said to have flown into rage about brother's plans to give the ticket to Divya. If the same trend continues, the TDP in Tuni would be a divided house.
