Will Kamineni be TDP's spy in Jana Sena?

Where is former minister and BJP leader Dr Kamineni Srinivas? He has been keeping an unusually low profile of late and has not been seen in any public programme. But, highly placed sources say that he could soon resign from the BJP and join the Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena party. Sources say that the modalities have already been worked out and it is only a matter of time when the official announcement comes.
The AP BJP always regarded Kamineni as a black sheep. He was Chandrababu Naidu's trusted man and it was Chandrababu, who ensured that he got the BJP ticket to contest from Kaikaluru in the 2014 elections. On being elected, Kamineni was made the health minister. Though he was in the BJP, he always toed the line of the TDP. He was the TDP man inside the BJP.
After the TDP-BJP alliance fell through in 2019, Kamineni fell silent. But still he was doing the TDP's bidding. For instance, he had played a key role in assisting the former IB chief in fighting his cases against the YSRCP government. Though he is technically still in the BJP, he is doing the bidding of Chandrababu.
Sources say that Kamineni will join the Jana Sena the moment the alliance deal is struck between the Jana Sena and the TDP. He would be Chandrababu's man in the Jana Sena and will try to influence the Jana Sena's decisions as an 'insider.' Hence, his joining of the Jana SEna is said to be certain. Will the Jana Sena learn from the BJP's mistakes or will it do the same mistake? Let's wait and see.
