Will KCR visit Visakhapatnam soon?

The BRS in Andhra Pradesh is gung-ho about the possibility of a visit by party national president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to Vizag city. If BRS sources are to be believed, KCR is likely to attend and address the proposed public meeting of the party being organised in Vizag to oppose the privatisation of the Vizag Steel Plant.
The BRS leaders are quite enthused about KCR's maiden visit and are making all arrangements to make the meeting a huge success. They claim that KCR has always laid emphasis on the North Andhra region for two reasons. Firstly, there are a lot of similarities between the problems of Telangana and the North Andhra.
Secondly, KCR's ancestors hail from the Bobbili region of Vizianagaram district. Hence the party feels that the BRS would get ready acceptance in this region. Hence, they are quite enthusiastic about KCR's visit. Interestingly, KCR's son KTR has only recently spoke in favour of the VSP and opposed its privatisation. He even wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In view of all these, BRS AP president Thota Chandrasekhar will pay a visit to Vizag on April 8 and hold discussions with the leaders of the movement opposed to the privatisation of the VSP. He will seek the support of these leaders for KCR's public meeting. He is also likely t solicit the support of former joint director of the CBI VV Lakshminarayana for the public meeting.
