Will TRS Desperacy In Campaign Bring Votes In Munugode?
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Oct 2022 7:14 AM GMTThe poll-bound Munugode region took the centre stage with the election date fast approaching. The three major parties are giving their best in the campaign activities and are confident that they would win the polls. The concerned candidates have already filed their nominations and are waiting for D-day to arrive.
The ruling TRS which lost a few by-polls to the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party has taken the polls prestigious and making sure that it won't lose the election as happened earlier. The party legislators are giving their best in the campaign to get the attention of the voters in the region.
Recently, Minister Malla Reddy surprised many by making dosas at a tiffin centre while campaigning for the party candidate. The Cabinet Minister looked in a josh mode while making dosas.
Now an MLA turned cook and took care of cooking arrangements. TRS planned a big meeting in Choutuppal for the by-poll and massive arrangements were made for the meeting including food. Malkajgiri MLA Mynampally Hanumantha Rao took care of the arrangements and donned a chef's hat. In the viral pictures, the MLA can be seen taking care of cooking arrangements.
It has to be mentioned here that, TRS took the polls seriously. Legislators like MLAs and Cabinet Ministers were kept on the job to campaign for the upcoming polls. The actions of the Ministers hint at the desperation of the ruling party to win the polls at any cost. The ruling party losing the by-election will send a strong message to the public ahead of the general polls.
To see that that won't happen, the TRS is going all out in the campaign. The Cabinet Ministers are also being used to campaign for the much-talked-about by-election in Munugode which fell vacant with the resignation of Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy.
It is not wrong for Cabinet Ministers and other legislators to campaign for the by-election in Munugode. But the question here is whether the desperation of TRS leaders will bring votes or not. To tell how prestigious the by-election is for the parties, cash bundles were found in Munugode earlier. However, there is no info on whose money was that.
