Working Age Population Dip Is A Big Concern For The World?

When we talk about the countries and the issues faced by them, most people talk about inflation, growth in prices, unemployment, and lack of natural resources. This is true. But we cannot mention the reasons as the sole issues faced by the countries. There is another concern for the world.

The decrease in population is also a big concern. Yes, you heard it right. Countries that are experiencing a working-age population are going through a big crisis. This aspect is leaving a heavy toll on nations that are one of the big economies in the world.

Japan and South Korea which are among the big economies in the world are struggling with the dip in the population. One is that the working age group is coming down and the second one is that youngsters are not ready to get married which is an even bigger concern.

To give an example of how the situation is in South Korea, the country is going through a tough time with the dip in the population. The government took the issue as a big concern and even wants a dedicated Ministry to look into the issue and take big measures.

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol expressed his serious concern about the dip in population and said that a Ministry is required to tackle the issue. He even said that he would seek help from the Parliament in this step. Probably this is the first time a nation is talking about having a special Ministry for the low birth rate.

Japan is also facing similar situations and the same is the case with Dragon country China. China which is a big economy faced a big blow with the dip in population. For the same reason, it lost the tag of the most populous nation to India.

When this is the case with the other countries, the focus went on to India. As of now, we don't have a threat. However, we are hearing that the fertility rate is coming down among the couples in the country. If the issue is not addressed then we might also face similar issues in the future.
