Today is a very big day for a democratic nation like us the elections are underway. Voters are hedging towards the polling booths to cast their votes. Polling is underway in all the MLA and MP segments in Andhra Pradesh. Barring a few tense scenes, everything has been going smoothly.

Talking about the voting pattern, the percentage has been increasing gradually. Despite a low start of just 9.21 percent in the initial hours, the vote percentage went past the 55 percent mark by 3 PM. With this, a debate is going on about whether we can see big numbers this time.

As per the information, the voting percentage was just 9.21 by 9 AM. It increased to 23.04 percent by 11 AM. With a steady increase, the vote percentage was recorded at 40.26 percent by 1 PM and rose to 55.49 percent by 3 PM.

It is a good thing that the vote percentage has been on a steady rise. If everything goes well the voting percentage might go past the previous elections and end up at a new high.

The trend hints that the same might happen as we see voters working and studying in other states reaching to the state to vote. While the vote percentage went past the 55% mark, the Chittoor segment saw the highest percentage as of 1 PM with as much as 61.43 percent.

If we look at the districts in terms of highest voting, the YSR district is at the top followed by Bapatla, Chittoor, and Krishna. With only a few hours left for the voting, we can expect almost all the regions to see big numbers.
