Another Big Yatra On Cards For YS Jagan?
As per the media reports Jagan is likely to embark on a massive yatra named Praja Ashirvada Yatra and meet the people in the state.
By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Sep 2023 7:32 AM GMTYS Jagan Mohan Reddy recorded a landslide victory in the 2019 general elections. It's been four years since he came to power and the state is gearing up for another election fight. The party won 151 seats in the last elections and this time the party wants to achieve a historic feat and win all the 175 Assembly seats.
When the ruling party set its eye on the historic feat and was confident of the same, the Andhra Pradesh political spectrum saw some big developments. Former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was arrested and sent to remand.
Following the arrest, the opposition Telugu Desam Party started a fight saying that Chandrababu Naidu was framed in the case and was arrested for political reasons. The party members are taking part in the protests to support Chandrababu Naidu.
The arrest of Chandrababu Naidu also brought the Telugu Desam Party and Janasena together. Of late we have been hearing that both parties might join hands, but the after developments of the arrest cleared the road for the parties.
As the opposition seems to be in a strong position, the ruling party is said to be in plans to counter this and bring a game plan eyeing the next polls. Reports are abuzz that another massive yatra is on the cards for the YSRCP chief.
If we look at the recent speeches of YS Jagan, he has been saying that he believes in people and he has an alliance with only the public. It is no wonder that he made such comments and his government is implementing welfare schemes like no one.
As per the media reports Jagan is likely to embark on a massive yatra named Praja Ashirvada Yatra and meet the people in the state. It is said that the yatra serves two purposes, one is to make a good cord with the people and the second one is to counter the campaign of the opposition.
On the other hand, yatras played a big role in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s political career. He took part in the Odarpu Yatra and the yatra ahead of the 2019 polls gave a fruitful outcome. In 2019 he covered 3648 km under the Praja Sankalpa Yatra.
