Anna Canteen Reopen: Major Controversy Erupts In Pithapuram!

We have seen how Anna Canteens landed in a political row in the last term. The ruling side shut the canteens and in some areas, the TDP leaders got permission to run the canteens from the Courts. TDP earlier said that the Anna Canteens would be reopened once it comes to power.

As promised the TDP-led alliance government is all set to launch the Anna Canteens and August 15 was fixed as the D-day for this. The menu was also fixed for the canteens. All eyes are on the big date with this. However, a major controversy hit the Anna Canteens inauguration.

It is said that Anna Canteen was reopened in Pithapuram, the constituency represented by Pawan Kalyan. TDP leaders re-opened the canteen and there was no picture of Pawan Kalyan which led to a big row.

The Janasena leaders are not happy with this and they are asking why there are no pictures of Pawan Kalyan. They are saying that pictures of NTR and Chandrababu Naidu are there but there were no pictures of Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan.

Janasena supporters are expressing their dissatisfaction over this. Anna Canteen is the brainchild of TDP and there is no denial. But the alliance is in power and there is a need to consulate the other parties too when such a big occasion arrives.

Moreover, the Pithapuram seat is represented by Pawan Kalyan. He is the MLA of Pithapuram and serving Deputy Chief Minister. Despite this, there are no pictures of Pawan Kalyan. Janasena supporters are not happy with this and are expressing their dissatisfaction.

This can be seen as the first major controversy that erupted after the alliance came to power. Now we have to wait and see how the alliance addresses the issue and puts an end to this.
