The D-day for Chandrababu’s wait to get relief is fixed on October 3rd. The Special Leave Petition he filed in the Supreme Court seeking directives to quash the Skill Development case filed against him was adjourned. The TDP chief in the petition said that the Governor’s permission was not sought before filing the case.

Amid this, the Andhra Pradesh government brought a new twist to the SLP. Media reports are abuzz that the government reportedly filed a caveat petition seeking directives to hear its arguments before giving the verdict in the quash petition filed by Chandrababu Naidu.

When the hearing on the Special Leave Petition was slated for commencement on October 3rd, the government appeared in the picture with a caveat petition. If the petition is accepted by the Supreme Court then the TDP boss might get a big blow.

If we look at what happened in the earlier arguments in other courts, his petition to stay in remand at his house was dismissed.

Having been satisfied with the arguments of CID, the court extended his remand and gave him two days for custody. The CID wants to take him into custody and the petition will be heard soon.

Amid this, the caveat petition was filed in the court. Once the petition is accepted then the person who filed the petition has to be notified by the court before any action. In this situation, the government wants the court to hear its arguments before giving the verdict in the case.

The AP CID has been alleging that Chandrababu Naidu is the key conspirator in the scam and that the money released by the government was diverted to other ways. With the government filing the Caveat Petition, the lawyers representing the government might tell the court the same and this will have a big role in shaping the verdict.
