OpenAI, which was behind the AI-backed ChatGPT that took everyone by surprise, was in the news as the management sacked Sam Altman as the CEO. It was nothing short of a big shock as ChatGPT has been doing wonders and the CEO who was behind this was sacked.

The news was sensational in itself and the management raised doubts about his leadership skills. A replacement was also announced. Later reports said that OpenAI might bring Sam Altman in his position to lead the company.

Now Microsoft's Satya Nadella made a big announcement that Sam Altman will work with a new advanced AI research team. Along with Sam, Greg Brockman and other colleagues will also be a part of the AI team. He also said that they will provide them with the resources quickly.

"Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, together with colleagues, will be joining Microsoft to lead a new advanced AI research team. We look forward to moving quickly to provide them with the resources needed for their success," Satya Nadella said on social media.

Inviting the personalities to Microsoft is a big move as the tech giant is putting serious effort into AI. Microsoft came up with its Chatbot Bing Chat, conversational AI. The tech giant changed its plans and is rebranding Bing Chat as Copilot.

Microsoft Copilot was designed to be an AI companion for users. This is made available for users of the Windows 11 update. However, the users have to pay a certain amount.

Now Sam Altman and others are invited to be a part of the AI research team. Observers say that this can be a game-changing decision as Sam who shot to superfame with ChatGPT was invited to the team to lead the AI Team.
