DK Arunas Fight To Get Recognised As MLA Continues!

It is known that the BJP is trying hard to come to power in Telangana. It just has three MLAs in the house and we have to say the BJP has only two MLAs as firebrand leader Raja Singh was suspended due to his inflammatory comments.

In an unexpected move, the BJP got an opportunity to have another MLA. It is known that a few members of the ruling BRS are facing petitions that challenge their election results. Two MLAs were shocked by the Court by overturning the election result and calling their win invalid.

Bharatiya Janata Party national vice-president D.K. Aruna contested the 2018 elections from the Gadwal seat as a Congress leader. However, she lost the election to Bandla Krishna Mohan. Her long fight resulted in the High Court announcing Bandla Krishna Mohan's as void. Not only that, the Court also announced Aruna as the winner and issued the concerned orders.

But it appears that DK Aruna will not have relief in the election row anytime soon. Despite the court orders declaring DK Aruna as the winner, there is no proper response from the state government.

Seeing that there is no response from the state government, DK Aruna moved the election commission on the issue. Having looked into her application and the court orders, the apex election body ordered a gazette notification on D. K. Aruna's election as Gadwal MLA.

Despite this, there is no proper response from the government on this. As the latest step from DK Aruna, she approached the Assembly secretary asking for her oath-taking ceremony. She had sent the court orders and the ECI orders to the Secretary. She is hoping that she will get a positive response in this regard

But the question here is why the state government is not recognizing her as the MLA. While many say that the state government might want to see what the Supreme Court would say hearing the petition filed by Bandla Krishna Mohan, who was disqualified as MLA, a few doubt whether the issues BRS has with BJP has to play any role in the delay.
