CBN Arrest:Senior Leader Asks Why Centre Is Silent?

Chandrababu Naidu is not a former Minister and more than that. Political observers dub him as one of the tallest leaders. There is a reason for this, TDP was part of NDA and other alliances at the Centre and he played a key role in bringing the like-minded leaders together.

When a person of his stature was arrested, the BJP kept its distance from the issue. Only the AP wing of the BJP condemned his arrest. Talking about Telangana BJP, there was a lukewarm response. BJP’s K. Laxman came in support of Chandrababu while Raghunandan Rao said the government might have arrested Chandrababu with evidence.

Many wonder why the BJP central leadership is silent on this. TDP leaders are not happy with the Union Government’s silence on this and they question what is stopping it to come forward and give their reaction.

Former Minister Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu expressed his dissatisfaction with this and asked why the Centre is not responding. He asked if the Centre is unable to see the developments in the state and react to them.

The senior TDP leader made these comments at a time when many doubt the possible hand of BJP in this. The buzz around the issue was so big that former MP Vijayashanti, who is with the BJP had to condemn this. She said that the BJP is nowhere concerned about this and it has no role to play in the issue.

Now he dragged into this and questioned why the Union Government is not reacting even when the central funds are misused. Now we have to wait and see whether the BJP will react or not.
