Tense Moments At Pakistan Dressing Room Meeting?

The heartbreak continues for the Pakistan Cricket fans. It won the World Cup finals at the hands of the English team. After the knockout, a meeting was held in the Pakistan dressing room. But the meeting did not go as planned with the players reportedly indulging in a war of words. A player is said to have countered the statements made by skipper Babar Azam.

Taking the information coming from the Pakistani media, Babar Azam reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with the players' performance. He said players are not playing responsibly. Pace gun Shaheen Shah Afridi did not like this and made counter statements.

Interrupting Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi asked his skipper to praise the players who gave the best performance. A young player interrupting him made Babar Azam furious. He hit back saying he knew the players who performed well and who did not.

Seeing the tense situation, senior player Mohammad Rizwan pacified both sides and made sure that the situation wouldn't get worse. What is being reported is a big shock.

Pakistan entered the league as the number-one ODI team and its skipper Babar Azam is the World's number-one player in the format. Despite this, the Pakistan team managed to win just one match and the sole win came against a small team Nepal.

However, the team failed to live up to its expectations. Despite having a lethal bowling attack, the Men in Green could not bring the best performance. After tasting a big defeat at the hands of India, Pakistan lost to Sri Lanka and was knocked out of the tournament.
