The parties involved in the elections took them prestigiously and are putting in their best efforts. The Election Code came into effect already and there are a few restrictions.
Special checkposts were put across the nation to look for money, liquor, and others. It is said that the EC had struck gold as Rs. 4650 crores were seized. This includes gold, cash, and drugs. This is said to be the biggest in recent times. No one would have predicted that we would see such a big amount.
There was a limit on the cash people could carry when the election code is effective. If the cash exceeds the limit, then they have to show the required documents. If not then the cash would be seized. We can see check posts in the major junctions across the countries and even on the leading reads on the National Highway.
