The YCP is dealing with a harsh defeat in the elections. The party said it would win all the 175 seats in the state including Kuppam and made big claims. But the results came as a shock to the YCP as it barely managed to win 11 seats. Even the Ministers and big names suffered election defeat.

Rubbing salts into the wounds, Rushikonda Palace and furniture issues came to light. The Palace issue became a big debate in the national media too. In particular, the Furniture row is turning out to be a sensation. The TDP in its official social media handle accused Jagan of using the Furniture that was purchased in the last term.

The strong words of the leaders are adding fuel to the issue. A YCP MLC said that they are ready to pay the money for the furniture if the officials say the cost of the furniture and other equipment.

Amid this YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is believed to have faced a big shock with the government's decision. It is said that the General Administrative Department had written a letter to Jagan saying that they wanted the furniture back, not money.

This decision comes days after a complaint was registered against Jagan. As per the news carried by Deccan Chronicle a case was filed against Jagan accusing him of not returning furniture and other equipment that was purchased in the last term.

In the letter, the General Administration Department (GAD) is said to have asked YCP chief YS Jagan to return Furniture and other equipment and they don't want money for them.

Amid this TDP supporters are highlighting the case of former Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao. He was accused of stealing the furniture. When he had written a letter saying that he would pay the money it was ignored and he was targeted. Ultimately he took the extreme step.
