See how BJP is keeping YSRCP, Jana Sena, TDP in good humour – at the same time!!

It is normal for people and political parties to play double games. But, the BJP, it appears, has become adept in playing the triple game in Andhra Pradesh. Though it is a political party which polled lss than one percent votes in the 2019 elections in the state, it is pulling the strings and controlling the levers of all the political parties.

All the three major political parties in the state – the YSRCP, the TDP and the Jana Sena – are competing with one another to remain closer to the BJP. The BJP too is doing the balancing act admirably well. While playing one party against the other, it is managing to keep all of them in good humour at the same time.

For instance, to show that it is friends with the TDP, it issued a Rs 100 special coin on NTR. Not just that. All the members of NTR were invited to the coin release function. But the BJP took care to omit NTR’s wife Lakshmi Parvathi, who is currently with the YSRCP. This was a clear signal to the TDP that it is veering towards the Yellow Party in the state.

At the same time, it has sent IT notices to TDP Chandrababu Naidu. It is a clear move aimed at placating YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the YSRCP. The idea is to ensure that the YSRCP does not move away from it. In addition to these, the BJP is also continuing its alliance with the Jana Sena. A great balancing act indeed!!
