Worried BRS Moves Court On Election Symbol?

The election fever had hit Telangana as the Election schedule was dropped recently. As per the schedule, the elections will be held next year and the results will be announced in December. The election code also came into existence in the state and a few schemes were put on hold reportedly.

While the major parties are busy drawing strategies for the elections, the ruling BRS has a big concern as far as the election symbol is concerned. The BRS party's election symbol is a car and that is why it is often called a car party. Recently, Amit Shah also targeted the party saying that car party steering is with AIMIM.

Talking about the concerns of BRS, the party is saying that allotting similar symbols to others in the elections will affect it. A writ petition was filed in the High Court of Delhi to seek directives to remove the election symbols which are similar to car symbol. Now we have to wait and see what the Court will say.

It is said that the party moved the High Court after not getting the required response from the election commission. The ruling party in Telangana is hoping that it will get a positive response from the High Court of Telangana.

It is known that earlier, we have read reports of a few ruling party candidates losing the elections due to similar election symbols. It looks like the party doesn't want to see such scenes again.

BRS won two elections in the state already and wants to win a third consecutive win which no party in the south had managed. So the party leadership is not ready to take risks in this regard. Let us wait and see what happens with the election result.
