The party is now trying to assess the mood of the public on giving pattas to tribals on Podu lands, the merger of the APSRTC into the Government and the decision to make the VROs permanent.
Party is said to have asked the leaders at the grassroots levels to give an assessment on the impact of these three decisions. The party has taken these three decisions to woo the various disgruntled sections of the voters. It wants to know what the people are thinking about these three initiatives.
Sources say that the merger of the RTC has got lukewarm reception. Several RTC employees are still said to be sceptical about KCR's decision. They feel that this decision was aimed at disposing of of the RTC assets in the state. At the same time, a section is quite positive about the government's decision.
Similarly, the loan waiver for farm loans worth less than Rs 1 lakh too is said to be raising several questions. Several farmers have stopped paying the loan interest for the last several years hoping that the government would waive off their loans. The people are questioning as to who would foot the bill for the interest that accrued on the farm loan.
