Is the BRS graph falling continuously? Is anti-incumbency and dissatisfaction against the sitting MLAs snowballing into a major anti-BRS storm? Will it affect the political prospects of the BRS? These are the questions that a recent survey conducted by the ruling BRS has raised within the party circles.

While trust and faith in KCR is largely in-tact, there is deep dissatisfaction against several sitting MLAs of the party. With KCR renominating most of the sitting MLAs again for the upcoming assembly elections, questions are being raised about whether the antipathy against them would result in an anti-BRS vote.

In fact, the same set of MLAs are ruling the roost for the last ten years and in most cases, their relatives and close camp followers have emerged as tormentors of the general public As a result, there is considerable anger against the sitting MLAs. However, setting aside the public mood, KCR has renominated most of these MLAs.

Political observers feel that KTR’s recent statement that the elections could be postponed and could be held along with the Lok Sabha elections has thrown the sitting MLAs into a tizzy. They feel that the dissidence and the anti-incumbency could grow if the elections are delayed any further. Meanwhile, KCR is said to be getting reports from various quarters about the current situation in each constituency.
