The elections are getting all the attention as the BJP and the opposition parties took them prestigiously. The opposition parties joined hands to form an incredible force to defeat the mighty BJP.
As the BJP wants to win the elections and record a hattrick, a new buzz has started that says that the saffron party is going after the celebrities to field them as the candidates. Earlier it was reported that Yuvraj Singh might be given a Lok Sabha seat. Now a hero's name is doing rounds.
If we have to take anything from the media reports, Bollywood hero Akshay Kumar might enter politics. It is said that talks are underway for this and we might hear big news on this soon. BJP has a good hold on the national capital though it could not come to power in the general elections.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has been dominating the national capital as far as the Parliamentary seats are concerned. In 2014 and 2019 he won all seven seats. The party wants to repeat the same performance.
Things are different this time as the opposition parties joined hands for the elections. As part of this, the BJP is looking at credible candidates. Akshay Kumar might be the one and he might be asked to contest from the Chandni Chowk seat in Delhi.
He is a known face in the region as he spent a good amount of time there before moving to Mumbai to pursue his Bollywood dreams. If this happens then Akshay Kumar would join the list of Bollywood actors who took the political path.
It has to be mentioned here that Akshay Kumar has the image of pro-BJP. There is a big criticism towards Narendra Modi that he is not appearing before the press. Despite this, he gave interviews to Akshay Kumar a few times. Everyone knows the sensation the interviews created.
