State's Destruction With Vision-2020, What About 2047?

Political opponents say that Chandrababu Naidu still strongly believes that people's memory is very less and they will believe whatever he says and that he can cheat people easily. They also say that if his pro-media supports him, then he can easily manipulate the people.

It is known that, 20 years back, he brought the concept of Vision 2020 and placed it before the people. Critics said that the majority of aspects mentioned in the documents would trouble the common people. Back then, many said that what Chandrababu said was very far from reality.

Sale Of Industries:

During Chandrababu's regime, as many as 54 entities were sold. Observers say that, when the decision was taken, back-to-back stories were aired in the pro-media saying that they are running in losses and why the government should take the burden. This resulted in shaping the public mind that it would be good if they are sold.

They have managed to send a strong message into the public that the industries are running on losses and continuing them is a burden on the government and they were sold at last.

Back then, Chandrababu Naidu faced severe criticism that he ruled the state based on the suggestions of the World Bank and he did not bother about the people. Many say that he increased the current charges as per the World Bank Director's suggestions. This resulted in a revolt in public and they protested. The tense situation led to the firing, claiming three lives. This incident became a black mark in history.

Outsourcing Jobs, His Brainchild:

Many say that, Chandrababu Naidu used to think what is the need for government jobs and why they should be given big salaries. For the first time, the outsourcing jobs formula was started in his regime. By dismantling the Public Service Commission, he brought outsourcing employees to all the departments.

Outsourcing employees were taken in the place of regular employees and they were given small amounts. The same outsourcing formula is still prevalent in Andhra. They have to adjust to the lower salaries they get.

User Charges In Hospitals:

It was the Chandrababu Naidu government that brought the proposal to charge user charges in the state-run hospitals thinking what is the need to have free service. With this, the user charges came into existence in the government hospitals in the combined state. From OP seat to test, everything is charged and this is also a part of Vision 2020.

Massive Corruption In Babu's Regime:

The Communists who allied with Chandrababu also could not digest his atrocities and corporate-style things so they made a book out of It. They shed light on the hollowness of Babu's rule in the book.

Privatization Of Study:

Another strong criticism against Chandrababu is that the education sector was hit hard in his regime who openly flaunted that education is not the responsibility of the government. With the facilities in the government schools coming down, the corporate schools popped up as mushrooms.

The situation is such that even middle-class people have to send their kids to corporate schools and colleges by taking loans. He even strongly highlighted this in his book as if he is doing a great thing.

Many say that Chandrababu's regime went on with such lies and atrocities. To give an example of this, the Swiss Minister of Economy, Pascal said that people like him would be in jail or mental hospitals in Switzerland.

Where Is Vision:

If Chandrababu is really a visionary person, then he should have picked Vizag which is already developed as capital instead of going for Amaravati when the state was divided which is deep in debt. There are already roads, railways, and airport in Vizag, and having a few more buildings would come in handy.

Without going for the idea, he went for the Amaravati proposal which costs lakhs of crores. On top of that, he pooled agricultural lands where we can grow three crops. To give an example of the disastrous idea, the party could not even win the Assembly seat in the region, say observers.

Ap has the longest coastline. If companies and Marine base systems are set up we can produce massive employment opportunities and the state will get good revenue. Did the same Visionary at least build a port in Vizag? This is the question he should answer.

At the same time, Jagan, whom Chandrababu Naidu often targets saying that he is inexperienced, is constructing a few forts. Many say that what Jagan is doing is called vision and not creating issues for the public for personal gains.

On top of this, people who went through a tough time with Chandrababu's Vision 2020 are fearing what would happen with Vision 2047.
