The Andhra Pradesh politics saw a sensational development. Amid speculations that have been doing rounds for a couple of days, Police arrested TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in Nadyala. This development became a sensation. AP CID and SIT officers served notices to Chandrababu, A-1 in the AP Skill Development Scam and arrested him. Tension gripped Nandyala with his arrest. Police are busy sending him to medical checkup and then shift him to Vijayawada.

An argument broke out between the cops and Chandrababu during his arrest. Chandrababu questioned how they could place him under arrest without evidence and when the case was running in court. He asked SIT and CID officers to show the case papers and FIR copy. Police officers are saying that they cannot show the remand report and they informed the court about his role in the scam and the reasons for his arrest. Chandrababu asked Police to show his name in the scam. When lawyers said, Chandrababu’s name was not there in the FIR, the Police said they would show the required documents after his arrest.

Amid a tense situation, the cops are trying to arrest him and shift him to Vijayawada.

Tension gripped Nandyala since Friday night as a matter of fact. In the wake of reports that Chandrababu would be arrested, thousands of TDP activists gathered at the RK function hall. DIG Raghurami Reddy, Nandyala SP Raghuveer Reddy, and a few other police officers approached Chandrababu Naidu’s bus. They tried to arrest him at midnight by knocking on the bus door. But lawyers, TDP leaders, and activists stopped them.

This led to a face-off between the cops, TDP leaders, and activists. At last, the Police arrested Chandrababu after Morning 6 amid high drama. Medical tests were performed on him. Tension gripped Nandyala with the sensational arrest of the former Chief Minister. Police personnel were deployed in large numbers there.
