Election Fever: Choppers and Private Jets High On Demand!

The election fever had gripped the country already in the wake of the upcoming elections. The much-awaited Lok Sabha elections are due which will be held in a few months. General elections will also be held in a few states. We can expect intense elections this time due to various factors.

In the wake of the upcoming elections, it is said that choppers and private jets are in high demand. It is common for the election episodes to see the demands for the vehicles soaring up, say the experts. But the stakes are high this time as the demand would be quite high this time.

As per the predictions, the demand for choppers and private jets is expected to increase by around 40 percent compared to the previous elections. As the elections are around the corner the choppers and private jets would be preferred by the parties. The advantage of these vehicles is that they can cover big distances in a short period.

The experts say that there are 350 chartered flights and over 175 choppers. With the limited availability, the parties are expected to book these vehicles on lease for the elections. Choppers and chartered flights are given on rent on an hourly basis.

It is said that it costs a bomb to hire them. As per the reports, a helicopter costs around Rs 1.5 lakh per hour while the price goes up to Rs 4.5 lakh -Rs 5.25 lakh per hour for the chartered plane.

The Lok Sabha elections would be a big fight between the BJP and opposition parties. The opposition parties formed a grand alliance named INDIA to fight the BJP. In some states, there are issues with the alliance. But over all the opposition parties want to fight the BJP.
