The alliance parties are leaving the alliance due to various reasons. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar left the bloc and joined the BJP’s alliance yet again. This shocked the Congress party and other parties ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
Uttar Pradesh is a state where the Congress party has been trying hard to get strong. To face the BJP, the Congress wants to seek the help of the Samajwadi Party which was in power earlier. However, the parties are unable to come to a common opinion on seat sharing.
As the seat sharing was not finalised yet there is no clarity on whether the SP leaders would join Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra held by Rahul Gandhi. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said that the party will take part in the yatra after the seat sharing issue is creating a doubt about SP's presence.
While Congress gave a list to SP on the seat sharing, the SP did the same and sent a list to Congress. Now it's in the hands of both parties to come to a common opinion on seat-sharing. Or else both parties will face a loss. They cannot face the BJP alone and need each other’s help in the tough task.
