Has Ego Gripped the Congress High Command? Does the way the leadership is behaving adds fuel to the debate? Why is there a delay in announcing the Chief Minister of the state despite getting a big mandate in the elections? These are the questions many have.

The debate on whether Ego gripped the Congress High Command had started as the supporters of the Congress party had severe dissatisfaction with the delay in announcing the Chief Minister and the oath-taking ceremony of the Chief Minister of the state.

People in the state gave a super mandate to the Congress party and the party won 65 seats. When such a big win was recorded we expect the party leadership to speed up things and announce the Chief Minister. Arrangements for the ceremony are also expected to be made at a huge level. But that did not happen and it is said that the supporters are facing severe dissatisfaction with the High Command.

The political observers say that postponing the announcement of the Chief Minister's name and other things. The delay in selecting the Chief Minister is also resulting in the growing dissatisfaction among the supporters.

We are hearing reports that the MLAs are supporting TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy and despite this, no formal announcement was made by the leadership. The suspense on who would be the Chief Minister continues.

Another big reason behind the dissatisfaction is that the leaders who held a meeting to take the call on picking Revanth Reddy and the ceremony for his oath-taking did not see any development. Taking forward the suspense on the CM post, the leaders who held the meeting returned to the national capital Delhi.

On one hand, we are hearing reports that MLAs are supporting Revanth Reddy as the Chief Minister and we will hear an official announcement on this soon. Contrary to this, the high command is yet to take a call and announce the Chief Minister soon. The crucial meeting held on the issue did not get any outcome and the leaders returned to Delhi.

Even the party supporters wonder what is making the High Command take such a long time in selecting the Chief Minister despite the people giving a super mandate. All these factors raised doubt on whether Ego gripped the high command.
