When we talk about the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh, welfare and schemes come to our mind. The ruling party often flaunts this openly and says the government is doing a better job in this compared to others. Opposition parties often accuse the YCP of ignoring the development.

The opposition parties and leaders often say that there has been no development in the past few years after the YCP came to power. If we look at the attack from the opposition side we can see this. But the reality is different and the numbers have to say something else.

As per the data, Andhra Pradesh improved its performance in terms of industrial growth. The data says that in 2019, the divided state was in the 22nd position, and by 2021-22 the state was in the third position with increased growth.

As a short-in-the-arm effort for this, a big investment is coming to the state worth Rs 1000 cr. A big player in the fertilizers manufacturing sector Coromandel International Limited is going to invest as much as Rs 1000 cr.

The Company will set up a massive plant in Kakinada. The company will invest Rs 1000 Cr in the shore city to set up the Phosphoric Acid-Sulphuric Acid complex facility which will be finished in two years. The plant would produce 650 tonnes of phosphoric acid daily. The plant would be designed with the help of advanced DA-HF (Dihydrate Attack-Hemihydrate Filtration) process technology.

The company said that the company has two facilities at Visakhapatnam and Ennore which are fully integrated with captive sulphuric and phosphoric acid facilities. Having said that, the company in a press release observed that the expansion plan in Kakinada will turn the unit into an integrated complex.
