Demand For Danam Nagendar's Disqualification Gets Momentum!

It is common for leaders to shift their loyalties from one party to another. The trend has been prevalent for a very long time. We see this often when a party loses the elections as the leaders join the ruling party. Telangana is no different as we see similar scenes.

After the election defeat, BRS has been losing its leaders. However, one leader is facing the heat of this as he is surrounded by a lot of troubles. One is that a petition was filed against the leader and the leaders are demanding his disqualification.

BRS Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender gave a shock to the party and joined the Congress. Not just that he was announced as the Secunderabad Lok Sabha candidate. He would face Kishan Reddy in the polls.

The BRS party is after him. The party leaders are targeting him for shifting sides. The likes of KTR are demanding his disqualification as he changed the party without resigning as the MLA. KTR said that the Speaker should disqualify him and said that Khairatabad seat would see by-polls in a few months. The BRS Working President even said that they would move the Supreme Court if needed.

Now a sensational petition was filed against Danam in the High Court seeking his disqualification. It is said that the petitioner mentioned in the petition that a leader joining another party without resigning is not good and sought directives for his disqualification.

The petition is likely to be heard by the Court tomorrow. Now all eyes are on the Court to see what happens. Will he face disqualification or get away with this is the question here. We might get clarity on this soon.
