Artificial Intelligence which is the current phenomenon in the world continues to send shocking waves. When the AI-based chatbot ChatGPT was started it shocked everyone with people realizing how the technology can be used to make our day-to-day things easy.

Now the technology is making everyone worried about the negative impact it can create as the deep fake videos are sending shocking waves. We have seen how an edited video of popular actress Rashmika Mandanna raised many concerns. Not only the common people, but the celebrities also expressed their concerns.

Now the Delhi Police is said to have come into the picture. A case has been filed by the police in connection with the case and an FIR was filed. It is said that the Delhi Police swung into action and they are trying to get the URL of the account which shared the video. As per the media reports the Delhi Police is said to have requested for the account URL from Meta.

It has to be mentioned here that recently, the Union Government announced that 3 years jail and a Rs 1 lakh fine would be imposed if such a thing happened. The same reminder has been sent to all the social media platforms to follow the guidelines.

The advisories that were sent to the social media platforms by the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) say that such content should not be approved and if any content is reported on any platform it should be brought down within 24 hours.

The deep fake video of Rashmika was made from a video that was made by British-Indian social media influencer Zara Patel. After the sensation the video had created, Patel reacted to this row and expressed her concerns over the usage of the videos.
