Wildlife bumping into mankind is not new and we have seen this many times. A lot of reasons can be attributed to this. Wild animals attacking cattle and people in human habitats are big examples of this. Incidents of Wild animals getting hit by vehicles and trains in particular are increasing.

One such tragic incident was reported in which a wild elephant experienced a painful death after being hit by a train. Suffering pain the elephant breathed its last on the railway track. The painful visuals are now doing rounds on social media.

This shocking incident was reported from Assam which is suffering from a flood situation. A wild elephant was trying to cross the railway track near the Jagiroad railway station. The Kanchanjunga Express is said to have hit the elephant which sustained serious injuries.

Elephant is the heavy land mammal and despite this suffered a painful death. After being hit it tried to walk. Sadly it could not do it due to injuries. It succumbed to the injuries and died of pain.

Media reports say that the accident might have happened in the early hours. The viral video shows an elephant struggling to walk after the crash. Minutes after that it fell and breathed its last. The forest officials were informed about this and they reached the spot.

Knowing this the locals gathered in big numbers to see the wild animal. Officials reached the spot and cleared the people so that there would be no issues with the train movements.

Assam is hit hard by a flood which is creating havoc. It is said that a few people passed away already while thousands of people were affected by the rising water level. While crossing the track it was hit by the train.
