At a time when the parties are working hard eyeing the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party is looking strong with this. It is said that a few other leaders might also join the Congress party soon.
Now a big doubt is going on about whether Etela Rajender would take the Congress route. The former Minister was spotted with Patnam Mahender Reddy and former Malkajgiri MLA Mynampally Hanumanth Rao. It is said that the meeting saw various issues including political issues coming for discussion.
Etela is said to have discussed the possibility of joining the Congress party with the leaders who recently took the Congress route. If everything goes well we might see him in the Congress party and he might also be an MP candidate in any constituency.
It is known that Etela Rajender's political future is in a big question after the defeat in recent elections. He faced a big loss in Huzurabad, his strong zone. He has been winning the seat for some consecutive terms.
After the election defeat, Etela is not that active in politics. The elections are five years away from now. If Etela won't be active in politics then there is a risk of people forgetting him. Etela doesn't want this to happen and is said to be exploring various options.
As part of that he is eyeing Congress, the reports. It is said that there is no clarity on whether Etela would be given an MP ticket if he continues in the BJP. With this, the former MLA wants to take the Congress route.
