As the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are dubbed as the big final, people want to see who will win the elections. The intensity around the elections is quite high this time. Despite having issues, the opposition parties came under one roof to defeat the BJP. The parties formed an alliance named INDIA.

Telangana is also bracing for a big fight. In a span of a few months, the state will see the second elections. Earlier in December last year Telangana went for the general elections and the Lok Sabha elections will be held soon.

Making the election even more interesting, the leaders shifted loyalties from the parties to others changing the dynamics. Out of all the seats four seats are grabbing everyone’s attention as the former BRS leaders are candidates from two parties.

Warangal MP: The historic city has seen a lot of changes in recent times. Earlier BRS announced Kavya as the MP candidate. She is the daughter of BRS senior leader Kadiyam Srihari. Even after announcing her as the candidate, she and her father joined the Congress. She is the Congress Warangal Candidate. Aroori Ramesh who tried his luck in the 2023 elections did not taste success. Later he joined the BJP and he is the MP candidate now.

Malkajgiri: This is the seat which was earlier held by Congress. Revanth Reddy was the MP. It is common for the parties to keep a special focus on the seat. Suneetha Mahender Reddy and Etela Rajender are Congress and BJP candidates respectively. Everyone knows the long association the leaders had with the BRS. Etela even took part in the special state movement. But things turned tough and they left the party. The two leaders who were BRS leaders would face the BRS candidate.

Chevella: BRS saw a few sitting MPs defecting to Congress. Sitting Chevella MP Gaddam Ranjit Reddy joined the Congress and he is the Congress candidate. BJP’s candidate Vishweshwar Reddy was with the BRS earlier and was an MP too. Cut to now they are with different parties.

Medak: Another interesting fight in the state. Neelam Madhu was with the BRS for over two decades. Many felt that he would be given a ticket by the party. But that did not happen and he took the Congress route. BJP’s firebrand leader Raghunandan Rao was with the BRS earlier. He was given the Dubbaka MLA seat. He lost the seat in 2023 and wants to try his luck in the Lok Sabha elections.

As the former BRS leaders are ready to take on BRS candidates in the four seats. It has become interesting to see who wins. We would get clarity on this in a few months. So let us wait.
