Fear Of Arrest: Nara Lokesh Files For Anticipatory Bail!

Now it's the turn of Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh. He moved the High Court seeking anticipatory bail. Alleging irregularities in the Inner Ring road alignment in Amaravati in the TDP government’s regime, the Jagan government started blaming Chandrababu, former Minister Narayana, Nara Lokesh, and others. AP CID mentioned Lokesh as A14 in the case.
The YCP government has been alleging that the previous TDP govt indulged in corruption in the name of Inner Ring Road(IRR) which links all the roads in Amaravati. AP CID swung into action with the complaint registered by YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy. As part of the investigation, AP CID filed a case in April last year under various sections of the IPC and Prevention of Corruption Act. After the probe, the CID levelled allegations that irregularities took place in the inner road alignment.CID named Chandrababu and former Minister Narayana as A1 and A2. Lokesh was named A14 in the case.
SIT had already filed a special memo in the ACB court in Vijayawada already. It said that Nara Lokesh played a key role in the Inner Ring road issue when his father was the Chief Minister. Investigating agency CID came to a conclusion that Nara Lokesh purchased lands for their company Heritage Foods. Besides Lokesh, Lingamaneni Ramesh and Heritage Foods are also named as accused. Narayana already got an anticipatory bail in the case.
Against this backdrop, YCP leaders and Ministers have been saying that Lokesh will be arrested. Lokesh who is in Delhi now is gearing up to resume the padayatra.
