Congress To Compensate Minority Leader With Lok Sabha Seat?

The Congress party which had put up a brave fight in the elections had changed the political landscape in Telangana. It won the elections and came to power with a big margin. The grand old Party had managed to defeat the two-time winner BRS. Congress formed the government in the state.

In the Cabinet, a few aspirants were not given a chance due to various aspects. Now it is said that a minority leader who missed the Cabinet berth would get a Lok Sabha seat in the upcoming polls. The Congress party reports want him to contest the seat.

As per the political sources, Congress leader Feroz Khan is likely to get the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat. With minorities not getting a spot in the Cabinet he might get the big chance to try his luck. The seat is not new for him as he contested the previous elections from there.

However, he could not succeed in the previous elections. Despite this, the Congress leadership is reportedly preferring him. If everything goes well we might see him as th Hyderabad Lok Sabha candidate from the Congress party.

When the new Congress cabinet was formed many predicted that Feroz Khan would be inducted into Revanth’s team under the minority quota. But it did not happen as the party went with a different approach to selecting the Cabinet Ministers.

In the recent Assembly elections, he contested from the Nampally seat. Despite working hard he could not win the elections. Later it was predicted that he might given a Cabinet berth. However, it looks like the Congress party might compensate the Minority leader with the MP seat for missing a Cabinet berth.
