Firebrand Actress To Contest As MP On BJP Ticket?

Having done with the general elections in five poll-bound states, the focus is now on Lok Sabha elections which are slated to be held in a few months. The Bharatiya Janata Party is adamant about winning the next elections and recording a hattrick of wins, the first of any non-Congress party.

As the BJP is working hard on this, a debate was started on whether firebrand actress Kangana Ranaut would get an MP ticket. Reports say that she might make a political entry that too from the BJP for the upcoming polls.

The debate started on this when Kangana Ranaut met BJP National President JP Nadda in Kullu. It is said that the duo discussed many issues including the actress contesting the Lok Sabha polls. As she met the party chief all of a sudden many say that the meeting might be for political discussions.

Adding fuel to this, a few media reports say that Kangana Ranaut’s father said she would contest the elections with a subject to condition that she gets a BJP ticket. However, he was quoted by the reports as saying that the party might decide the seat she contests.

Kanagan met JP Nadda months after saying that she would contest the elections with the blessings of Lord Krishna. She visited the Dwarka temple and when asked about contesting elections she said she would contest elections if God is willing.

It has to be mentioned here that Kangana Ranaut has been a strong supporter of BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She never misses an opportunity to express her support towards the party. Her nature also made her lock horns with the previous Maharashtra government and she was provided with a security cover.

Moreover supporting celebrities and inviting them into the party has been an operating procedure of the BJP of late. A few senior stars and sportspeople were invited to the people. Gambhir is an MP from the party. If everything goes well Kangana might join the list.
