Gyanvapi Issue: CMs Sensational Comments!

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is a firebrand leader who doesn't shy away from speaking his heart out. No matter what the issue is, he tells his opinion without any second thought. Despite being not from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) background, he got an elevation in the BJP and was made the CM.

Now the Chief Minister is in the news with his sensational comments. Yogi Adityanath reacted to the much-talked-about Gyanvapi mosque issue and said that what happened is a historic mistake and the Muslim side should take the initiative to rectify the mistake.

The Chief Minister said that calling the structure a masjid will be controversial. He asked why there is a trishul in the mosque and why there are idols in it. He said that the structure is a jyotirling and hence it cannot be called a Mosque.

Yogi Adityanath said these comments in an interview. News Agency ANI interviewed him and the promo was released. Within a short time, the promo grabbed everyone's attention with the comments made by the Chief Minister.

On the other hand, he made crucial comments ahead of the court verdict. The Allahabad High Court reserved its decision on the Gyanvapi survey row and it would announce its decision on the third of next month which is a few days away from now.

There are three structures where Hindus and Muslims are fighting for total control. Kashi, Ayodhya, and Mathura. While the Ayodhya issue was sorted out with the Supreme Court's orders, the two other issues are still running. Both sides say that the place belongs to them.

Earlier, a structure was found in the Archaeological Department of India (ASI) survey of the complex which is very similar to Shivling. However, the Muslim side has been saying that it is just a fountain.

It had to be mentioned here that earlier this week an ASI survey was ordered at Gyanvapi mosque in Varanasi by a local court. The team of experts went there. Before they could start the work, the Supreme Court gave orders to stay it. The orders were given after the Muslim court moved the Court.
