The much-awaited moment had arrived. The elections are underway in Andhra Pradesh. Voters are reaching out to their respective booths to cast their votes. Celebrities and politicians cast their votes and urged the people to use their right and vote in elections. Since the early hours, the polling started.

As the elections are underway, director Harish Shankar made a sensational post on social media. He is active on social media and reacts to happening issues. He might have decided not to let the chance go out of hand.

Looking at the post he made many feel he might have supported his hero Pawan Kalyan and indirectly targeted the ruling party. While he did not take any names, the words he used indicate that he might have done this in the post.

In his post, Harish Shankar urged the voters to identify leaders who spent their money for the people in politics and not those who earned money after coming to power. Many say that the director was referring to Pawan Kalyan as he helped farmers and others earlier.

The director went on to say that someone pressing buttons need not decide our fate and we should press our button which is the EVM button. Having said that, Harish Shankar observed vote is not just our right but also our responsibility.

As the ruling party often flaunts the welfare schemes they do and talk about pressing the buttons to distribute the fruits of the schemes, a big discussion is going on among the netizens about whether he supported Pawan and targeted the ruling party indirectly.

It has to be mentioned here that a few personalities already supported Pawan Kalyan in the elections. They came forward to extend their support in the big battle and people are seeing Harish Shankar’s post with a similar lens.
